Annual Walk for Balin
Join us for the Annual Walk for Balin at Kawana Surf Club — a heartfelt community event honouring Balin Stewart and standing together for safer futures. This uplifting walk brings families, friends, and supporters together in unity, reflection, and hope, raising vital awareness and support for youth programs through the Balin Stewart Foundation. Every step taken helps continue Balin’s legacy and strengthens our shared commitment to protecting and empowering young people in our community.

Annual Walk for Balin — Coming Together for Change
Every January, the Kawana Surf Club comes alive for the Annual Walk for Balin — a heartfelt community event held in honour of Balin Stewart. Families, friends, local businesses and supporters from across the Sunshine Coast gather to walk together along the beachfront, raising awareness around youth violence and continuing Balin’s legacy of positivity, kindness and connection. It’s a day filled with emotion, purpose and unity, with the stunning coastline as a reminder of the community that stands strong behind the Stewart family. Whether you walk, volunteer or simply show up in support, the event embodies the spirit of coming together to create change.

Champions of Change Luncheon
Join us for the Champions of Change Luncheon, proudly supporting the Balin Stewart Foundation. This inspiring event brings our community together to honour Balin’s legacy and drive meaningful change for local youth. Enjoy a powerful afternoon of connection, conversation, and impact as we raise vital funds to support education, mentoring, and safer futures for young people. Your presence helps transform tragedy into positive action — and ensures Balin’s light continues to guide our community forward.
